COURSE:

RCM Facilitator Competency Development Program

The RCM Facilitator plays a crucial role in the implementation of an RCM2 analysis. Of all the factors which affect the ultimate quality of an RCM2 analysis, the skill of the Facilitator is the most important.

In this hands-on interactive course, you will learn how to guide a group in the applicati on of RCM2 in addition to consolidating your own knowledge on the subject. Under the guidance of a licensed RCM2 Practitioner, you will work in a group setting on a series of exercises where each attendee takes turns acting as Facilitator. This course is a perquisite if you are considering becoming an RCM2 Facilitator in your organization.

The Aladon Network has identified 45 distinct skills that are required for RCM2 Facilitators. These skills ensure that RCM2 is applied to a standard that produces consistently sensible and defensible maintenance programs. Aladon’s RCM2 Facilitator

Competency Development Program uses a combination of a 10-day formal training course followed by on-site mentoring to reinforce that Facilitators are competent in all 45 skills.

Class sizes are limited to a maximum of twelve delegates. As a participant, you will take turns facilitating the RCM2 analysis while the Practitioner provides coaching on your application of RCM2 principles and your group management skills. After this course, you will need on-site RCM2 mentoring to help hone your capabilities and confidence. Usually provided on a part-ti me basis over two or three months, the amount of mentoring required varies by Facilitator, but the objective is to ensure you are capable of producing a defensible reliability program.
